Signal Test Commons
Signal Test Commons 512-channel challenge · synthetic example
The saved deterministic synthetic challenge reports all three generated fault episodes detected, zero false alarms on 67 clean frames, and group localization micro-Jaccard 0.9269813. These values describe only the bundled synthetic challenge and threshold.

Reported metrics
Values are copied from the declared run summary. This report does not calculate scores, rank methods, or combine metrics across scopes.

| absolute-threshold (threshold=4.5) | false alarms per clean frame | 0 | fraction | — | — |
| absolute-threshold (threshold=4.5) | group localization accuracy | 0.9269813 | micro Jaccard fraction | — | Computed in the source report over injected frames only: 1,041 localized frame-group pairs / 1,123 union pairs. |
Limitations
- The challenge and all scores are synthetic. Its source explicitly says these results do not establish performance on physical instruments.
- One seed (7), one threshold, and one 80-frame saved challenge are represented; the example includes no comparative baseline report.
- Localization accuracy is calculated only on injected frames, as defined by the source; it is not a measure of physical spatial accuracy.
Artifact integrity
All referenced files match their manifest SHA-256 values. This confirms bundle consistency only; it does not establish authorship, timing, provenance authenticity, or measurement validity.

SHA-256 matching proves only byte-for-byte consistency between a referenced file and the digest recorded in this bundle. It does not prove authorship, when a file or protocol existed, provenance authenticity, or measurement or method validity.
