Find the focus

Each level is a simulated off-axis hologram with an unknown reference phase and a fractional carrier, reconstructed by WaveHolo (wave_hologram.py). Scrub the depth slider through the reconstruction stack, find the plane where the object is sharpest, and lock it in. Your error is measured against the true synthetic distance, and then compared with WaveHolo's measured one.

Keyboard: focus the slider, use ←/→ (one frame, 0.1 mm), PageUp/PageDown (ten frames), Home/End, and Enter to lock in. Frames are 0.1 mm apart, so even a perfect pick can be up to 50 µm from the truth.
